We take our corporate social responsibility to heart

Since 2013, we have been committed to being a reliable partner of the Hamburger Stiftung Kinderjahre. Their motto is to ensure equal opportunities for all children, true to our motto:

From here into the future.

Our commitment to corporate social responsibility is built around the three pillars of learning, helping and giving. It centres on championing schoolchildren over the longer term, empowering them to participate in society and enjoy life.

Learning: pilot media club

The pilot media club is a workshop programme developed for fourth-year pupils and aimed at teaching children how to use media safely. Established in 2013, it has pilot employees hold workshops at primary schools in and around Hamburg.

The CSR project was developed as part of the “Learning Kids” initiative. It uses playful approaches to show children how to use and deal with the internet and digital media. We also train them to deal with advertising within the media world.

We conclude our corporate social responsibility workshops with a visit to our Hamburg site, which is a real highlight for the kids. Here, they can experience agency life first-hand and help our experts design an out-of-home advertising motif.

Helping others through
our pilot Social Day

Once a year, our pilot employees get physical for a good cause, devoting their free time to DIY projects at a CSR event initiated by the Kinderjahre foundation.

Recent projects have seen our staff work on school gardens, build a boulder wall and create a school pond.

pilot donations

pilot also helps the Kinderjahre Foundation by making donations for specific initiatives and partner schools.

Other pilot CRS measures include regular donations of computer equipment to Hamburg schools to support media lessons.
